Argon Animation Inc with Party Pilipinas
The biggest show to hit Manila was broadcast on GMA7′s Party Pilipinas yesterday at midday.
Argon Animation with 4 units of 500mw laser, director Rico Gutierrez, Shakira Villa Symes (Lighting) and GMA7 teamed up for this huge event.
The event started with Jay Cayuca going wild on his violin and the four lasers blasting into the studio to the delight of the audience who simply went wild.
The four lasers all linked together, were controlled by a single Pangolin controller and produced a multitude of beams, tunnels, waves and other wild effects and enhanced by Shakira’s amazing lighting strategies.
Rian Cahiga (Director of WOW), Argon Animation’s very own laser diva was at the controls of the laser going out live on TV.
It seems the girls are taking over the lights!
Rico was a dream to work with as a director and open to ideas, help and suggestions and willing to try new and exciting effects (on screen hologram anyone?) even if everyone thinks he is crazy at first!
His passion simply spills out of him and his enthusiasm filled each one of us as he spoke his ideas.
The 3 hour live TV show was a massive epic with literally hundreds of people taking part both onstage and off stage. Beauty after beauty sang their hearts out on stage and I was simply overwhelmed with the emotion during the opening number.
I am so fortunate to be part of something so wonderful, so grand and so entertaining to millions. Yesterday during the show with so much talent pouring out I realized I have an incredible life and shearing it with people like Rian, Shakira and Rico is a blessing that so many more deserve to experience.
And so we look forward to the next big collaboration with GMA7 at Araneta on June 18th.
