Party Pilipinas made history yesterday as they projected 3D television for the first time on a live broadcast show in the Philippines and of course Argon Animation was there to help and support them.
We installed four lasers during the show and had to move 2 of them for different effects after the opening sequence for new effects.
The opening number had Kyla climbing a dancing pole with two male dancers bathed in a laser tunnel for stunning visual effect, while we projected laser animation onto a gauze screen in another area of the studio.

Here is the official GMA7 Party Pilipinas video that was shown yesterday on local television. The show was directed by Rico Guitierrez with Shakira on Lighting and Rian from Argon Animation on Lasers.
The 3 hour live extravaganza was special due to the use of 3D images projected not only at the studio, but also for the audience at home on TV.
This was a brave new idea and full marks to GMA and Rico for trying something new and exciting.
